Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill has sued Roblox, alleging the gaming platform creates dangerous conditions for children. The lawsuit claims Roblox lacks proper age verification, allowing adults to pose as children and minors to bypass safety controls.

With approximately 20% of Roblox's 82 million users being under 9, the suit argues the company prioritizes profits over child safety. The legal action references inappropriate content and a recent case involving a man who allegedly exploited minors using voice-altering technology.

While Roblox implemented some safety measures in November, including messaging restrictions for users under 13, the lawsuit considers these changes inadequate. The case seeks to force Roblox to implement stronger protective measures and raise parental awareness about online safety risks.
