Home Alone Director Against Movie Reboot

Chris Columbus directed the original Home Alone movies. He thinks rebooting the series would be a mistake. The original films were special and cannot be made again.

Macaulay Culkin played Kevin and might return if paid enough. The first movie came out in 1990 about a boy left home alone who fights burglars. After the first two movies, other films were made with different actors.

In 2018, there was an idea for an adult version with Ryan Reynolds, but it stopped. Columbus believes the original movies were unique for their time. Culkin has some ideas but is busy with his family.

Fans still love the movies after 35 years.
