Flaveair: Can one careless comment change everything?

Flaveair appeared on a German TV show where entrepreneurs pitch to investors. They created a healthy alternative to smoking and snacking. Their product uses aroma capsules in a cigarette-like holder.

Users breathe in flavors without smoke or harmful chemicals. The product comes in 40 different flavors and costs €19.99 for starter kits. Initially, several investors were interested.

However, when the founders mentioned that children also enjoyed their product, two female investors became concerned and decided not to invest. They worried about negative effects on young people. Only one investor, Ralf Dümmel, remained interested.

He believed the product could help people reduce unhealthy habits. He offered €150,000 for 25% of the company, and the founders accepted the deal.
