Charles Armani, 23, was arrested for stabbing Elias Rosner, 35, outside a synagogue in Crown Heights on December 16. Before the attack, Armani made antisemitic comments and said he wanted to hurt Jewish people. Rosner confronted him, and Armani stabbed him in the chest.

The knife almost hit his heart. Rosner went to the hospital and recovered. Police arrested Armani after searching for nearly a week.

He faces hate crime charges.
