The Hulu series Tell Me Lies, based on Carola Lovering's novel, will conclude after its third season. Creator Meaghan Oppenheimer confirmed this decision, explaining that she and her writing team always envisioned this as the series' natural ending.

The show follows Lucy and Stephen, two college students whose complicated eight-year relationship significantly impacts those around them. Season 3, which premiered in January, introduced new dramatic storylines.

Oppenheimer revealed that the writers carefully planned the show's timeline, mapping out the 2008 events before developing the 2015 narrative. The series finale will air on February 17 on Hulu. Following the show's success, Oppenheimer signed a deal with 20th Television, part of Disney Television Studios.
